Luxury Redefined

As hard as it is to believe, 2015 is nearly over.  The new year will be bringing new changes to Cadillac and nowhere is that fact more evident than in the 2016 Cadillac CT6 luxury sedan.  Cadillac has made a concerted effort to redefine what the luxury brand represents in recent years.  Gone are the gas guzzling giants the Cadillac badge was once associated with and their newest luxury sedan is as far removed from the V-8 powered behemoths of the past as you can get.

Body size isn’t the only thing that’s changed.  Cadillac’s team of engineers have accomplished the seemingly impossible task of making a lighter full sized sedan without creating a tighter interior.  In fact, the CT6 measures out to nearly 9 inches longer than Cadillac’s current luxury sedan, the CTS, while maintaining a curb weight of under 3,700 pounds.

Under the hood you will find either GM’s 2.0-liter turbo powered inline-four cylinder 265 horsepower starter engine or two newly designed V-6 engines.  Whether you choose the twin turbo 3.0-liter 400 horsepowered V-6 or the 3.6-liter, direct-injected, 335 horsepower engine, you won’t need to get very far into your test drive to completely forget Cadillac’s 8-cylindered past.
